About Us.......
Who We Are!
Elder Veterans Legal Aid Group, P.C. is zero-net profit law firm serving elderly veterans and and their families throughout the United States. The founders of the firm came from the field of long term care and realize the financial burden caring for an elderly family member can create. Fortunately, we also recognize how difficult it is to receive timely, accurate, and, most importantly information you could use to make the best possible financial and care decisions for a loved one. We want to give you information about various benefit programs (including those from the VA) that can help provide not only the most appropriate care but the best quality of life. That's why our team integrates information about your care options with good, useable information about benefits and how they may specifically apply in your case. We are not about how many families we can help, but the actual quality and helpfulness of our advice. Although veterans disability law (for example) is not recognized as a field of speciality by the licensing bodies of the various states, it does require direct, legal accreditation and continuing education from the General Counsel of the Department of Veterans Affairs. In fact, it is illegal to even give advice to a veteran regarding benefits unless you hold this accreditation. [OGC Accreditation FAQs]. Our firm was created with one purpose in mind: to assist elderly, disabled veterans and their families to thoroughly understand their potential benefit entitlements and to obtain those entitlements as efficiently and quickly as possible.
The staff at EVLAG have a combined total of over 25 years assisting elderly veterans and have assisted many thousands of clients. Throughout the entire process, we work for you to ensure you are assisted completely and professionally. Unlike other groups or organizations, we will assist in obtaining official records at no cost to you. From gathering all necessary information, preparing forms and evidence, to proactively prosecuting a potential claim ; with EVLAG, you are never alone throughout the process of obtaining benefits.
